We learn from research in leadership that leaders who demonstrate great leadership can achieve seemingly impossible dreams in the unlikeliest of places. Africa needs ordinary people to achieve their extraordinary visions of success by following the steps to success by doing the little things that lead to success in Africa and avoiding the pitfalls that plague many of their predecessors.
The Success in Africa Podcast is a weekly podcast to support you to become successful in Africa
This episode concludes Modupe's conversation with Marshall Goldsmith about leadership in Africa.
As Modupe puts it “A leader is both potentially the biggest asset to his or her organizations as well as the biggest liability to his or her organization”
The conversation throws more light on the values and the benefits in the acceptance of coaching in Africa in the future development in Africa.
We have been socialized into a false image of success that makes us shy to talk about poor cash flow in the early stages of our entrepreneurial journeys.
A critical lesson we learn from this episode is what the mother of Ken Njoroge, a co-founder of Cellulant in East Africa taught him about money.
Ken’s mother taught him to never let the amount of money in his pocket determine how you he sees himself or limit his dreams.
The episode has more nuggets.
